Is this the best LCD of 2012?

Though plasma is still a firm favorite with reviewers, it's overwhelmingly LCD televisions that people crave, and if you want to know what the best one released in 2012 will be then we may already have an answer for you. While you may expect the answer to be Samsung, the early money is on a competitor we had almost written off: Sony. Until the arrival of the excellent HX850, the company looked to be in dire straits with a massive debt and a TV range cleft in twain. The HX850 boasts excellent black levels and a picture its rivals so far can't match.
