BrandPost: Enterprises are on board with IP services – SMBs should be, too

If you work for a small or medium-sized business that's not using IP-based voice service, you're not only leaving money on the table, you're likely not providing the best possible services to your organization. That's my take based on my own voice-over-IP (VoIP) experiences along with a study that Forrester Consulting put together on behalf of AT&T, "VoIP Solution Deployment Enables Enterprises To Achieve Many Strategic Benefits." The commissioned study, released early this year, cites figures from a survey Forrester conducted in the first quarter of 2013 of more than 250 U.S. enterprises. It found that nearly 70% of companies with 500 or more employees had already implemented or were expanding or upgrading their use of LAN IP-based voice services.
