Tesla Model S for the win

After about a year of anticipation, Tesla finally put me behind the wheel of a Tesla Model S. I had remained neutral about the car, even after driving the Roadster, visiting the factory multiple times, and riding as a passenger in a beta Model S. But having driven the real thing, I can now justifiably be excited by this car. Granted, I was piloting the Signature Performance version, which goes for $97,900, and hits 60 mph in 4.4 seconds while boasting a range of 265 miles. But the less expensive Model S trims are not going to feel much different in the cabin. Losing a second in the 60-mph run won't hurt too much in overall performance. The quality that I felt in the car I drove should still be there. From what I discovered, Tesla just put out one of the most desirable cars on the road today.
