The impending fall of RIM This week, it was learned that Canadian telecommunications company Research In Motion hired bankers from JPMorgan and RBC Capital for strategic advice -- hinting that a sale may be under way. Though its BlackBerry line of devices lifted RIM to prominence, years of falling sales and unsuccessful products have left the company struggling. On May 29, RIM even froze its shares temporarily, giving off one more sign that its ship is still sinking.

Earlier this morning, I received an SMS. I picked up my mobile phone, and just went to read it, the screen went blank. I'm unable to read anything or switch my phone off or on.
