SECURITY SOLUTIONS

Securing Hyper-V

by Mark Burnett

To properly secure your Hyper-V virtual machines (VMs), you need to
limit access to the host system, secure guest operating systems, and
limit interaction between the host system and the guest operating
systems. One way to secure Hyper-V virtual machines is to run the
Hyper-V role on the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Server Core
installation. You can also protect sensitive virtual machines by setting
a syskey password on a VM. Read the full article for more information
about preventing unauthorized users from accessing your virtual
environment (http://ct.email.windowsitpro.com/rd/cts?d=33-29248-803-202-62923-2387471-0-0-0-1-2-207.

Data Leaks Abound and No One Is Safe
